Youth Christian Formation

Holy Trinity’s Youth Christian Formation Groups meet during the 10:30am worship service and are available for newborns through 9th grade. Questions? Email Bonnie at bkretsch@frontier.com . Groups are:

Nursery: Debbie is available in the nursery to care for babies and toddlers 0 to 3 years old. There is no curriculum here – just lots of fun and play. The nursery is located just inside the Walnut Street entrance (between the library and the undercroft).

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd: Bonnie and Elizabeth lead this group for preschoolers through 1st graders. This curriculum is rooted in the Bible, the Liturgy of the Church and the educational principals of Maria Montessori. Our atrium is located just through the accessible entrance on the North side of the building (to the right of the Chapel).

All Things New: Kathleen, Jonathan and Mary lead this group for 2nd through 5th graders. This curriculum offers a rich mix of activities centered on scripture and Christian basics. This classroom is located in the Old Rectory building (the white house just to the left of the Church). Enter the Old Rectory from the courtyard between it and the main church building and walk straight past the office. The classroom will be straight ahead of you (in the northwest corner of the building).

Middle School: Susan and Barbara lead this group for 6th through 9th graders and will meet with students on Sunday, September 25th, during the worship service to discuss potential activities that focus on building community. Activities are likely to include service projects, exploration of our faith and the faith of others, social activities and potential preparation for confirmation. A list of activities, dates and meeting times will be posted after that time. Any students unable to attend this meeting are welcome to provide input by emailing Barbara at barbarah001@yahoo.com . The meeting will be held in the Library, just inside the Walnut street entrance (walk in and turn to the left).
