ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • Relay for Life: The next Oxford Relay for Life is a long way off–June, 2011. In the meantime, the Holy T-Birds will plan activities during the coming months, especially ways to earn money for the 2011 Relay. If you’re interested in being involved in this conversation, please join a group of us for a meeting on Thursday, August 12, 5:00 – 6:00 at my house—114 North Main. I look forward to seeing you and hearing your wonderful ideas! If you have questions please call me—523 8752.
  • ECSF grant proposals due Sept. 15: Any Episcopal congregation in this diocese is eligible to apply to ECSF for grants to aid your community ministry in 2011. The typical grant is $2,000-$3,000. Visit www.ecsfsouthernohio.org to download the proposal instructions and see what kinds of programs were funded this year, or call Ariel at the number above and she will mail you a copy. Thanks to all our donors! It’s your gifts that make these grants possible.
  • Holy Trinity Pantry: Holy Trinity maintains a non-food pantry for our guests at the monthly community dinner. As always we rely on your generosity to help stock the pantry each month. We always need toilet paper, paper towels, laundry soap, baby wipes, baby shampoo or wash, trash bags and shampoo. No time to shop? We’ll do the shopping for you. IMPORTANT REQUEST: we provide our guests with plastic containers to take leftovers home and we are running out of them. Do you have any containers you can give us? Thank you so much. ~ Geoff, Stephanie, Judith
  • Retirement Reception: Sunday, August 15th we will have a “Thank you” reception for John Pheanis who is retiring from his position as Holy Trinity’s sexton. Please bring a finger-food to share and plan to stay after the 10:30 service to celebrate John’s service with us.
